Parenthood is an exciting, tiring, overwhelming and challenging time for all parents. It is a common time for both women and men to seek professional help in understanding their own feelings, their baby's needs and feelings and that of their partner's. Anxiety, depression and trouble adjusting are very common at this time. Current research says that one in ten women will experience depression during pregnancy and one in seven in the first year of their baby's life. Anxiety during this time is at least as common as this, if not more*.

Being a parent of a toddler and preschooler is hard work. Children of this age are learning a lot of new things about their world including managing their emotions, independence and how to get along with other children. It can be overwhelming for parents and it is a common time to seek professional help in learning to navigate this new chapter of parenthood.
